CMI Backweight Tool (4mm, 5mm)

All CMI components are backweight compatible, and this tool is essential if you want to adjust the FOC (Front of Center) of your arrow after the insert has been installed.

This tool is precision CNC machined to the same tolerances as all of our components to ensure proper alignment of the drive adapter, so there is no fishing around for the backweight during removal.

We have designed the tool to be fully collapsible down to 10” and able to extend up to 35” with the 4 extensions included. (Additional extensions can be purchased separately if a longer reach is needed.)

Each tool comes with both adapter hex drives: 9/64” for 5mm backweights and 1/8” for 4mm backweights.
