Build quality is excellent. The collars are tapered, so the shaft is not caught in the target. The collars are short, so you can cut the arrow short. These saved two dozen arrows for me when I extended my draw length and my old collars hit the arrow rest. Will try to upload photos to compare against competitors.
First off they make awesome product! I messed up on my order and they noticed it and fixed it themselves and sent the correct stuff! I’m definitely building more arrows with their stuff! Their prices are the best around as well keep up the good work CMI!
Consistent weights and as advertised
Extremely consistent in weight and fit!
I added these to my arrows that were already installed with HIT inserts. If you are planning to use them, make sure to have them on the arrow before installing HIT inserts. The collars are well made and very precise in weight, but they add about 1/8” or so to the end of the arrow so my fieldpoints/broadheads only had about 3/4 of a turn at best before they seated fully. Not enough threads for me to feel confident in using them. I did not have this same issue using other collars. For reference, the HIT inserts were installed using the provided tool from the arrow manufacturer. Again, I think these are super well made, but you should include them prior to installing the inserts. If you already have arrows made up, these might not be the best for just adding on a collar.
I love the exact fit and taper of theses collars. Match up perfectly with 5/16 field points.
You will not find better. Period.

Impeccable machining. All 12 collars were within a grain of each other. I appreciate the fact that you can get a full dozen of these for a tiny bit over cost of a half dozen of the Easton HIT collars & these fit more snug, which in my opinion equals better protection. Now just please don’t read this and jack up your prices.....

Installed on Victory RIP TKOs in 250 spine, weighed each collar and they were within +- .1 grains of advertised weight. All arrows spin straight and true will be using CMI for all future arrow builds!
